I like that EG play CC64,two very decent comeback runs,that should put him spot on for today.His record third run back reads 1,1,3 .... prior to his long break.Lovely horse from a canny yard,way over-priced in an open looking contest,good luck with him. Really open looking contest,hard to rule any of them out. Baltic Baron is a hard one to work out,stuck him up at ascot where he again flattered to deceive,doing what appeared his best work when the bird had flown. Several changes of headgear,including the combo today,just get the feeling there is more in the locker,coaxing that out of him looks the hard part.Trained locally,will the step up be in his favour,certainly gets a break with the claim giving him a chance. 2-30 york Baltic Baron 1pt I see he,s drifted from 20 to 34 in 5 minutes,no doubt will run accordingly  |

Baltic Baron -1 -20.92 / 0 IP Never easy Sint over the whole season,still early days,enjoy your break. Speaking of Norfolk,plenty of mine lately could have been trained by Bernard Matthews  Having looked at yesterdays york card,with the O,Meara team in decent form,decided to go with the most competitive race of the day,chose the wrong one of his two,knowing there were also plenty of potential improvers.Just poor decision regardless of the result,that was a race for the video long term. Euchen Glen ran a cracker,his turn not too far away on that evidence,has Jimbo scooled him over hurdles I wonder? Putting the work in with little to show,no excuses on that front,everyone has been there before,the racing Gods apply a set of blinkers to every race you study. Taking a back seat is my normal way,judging how long that should be is a novel on its own.Four horses going later today have copped the pin recently,Rajinsky,Prince Eiji,Succellus and Rathbone.It will be a watching brief,I think of it as my penance,a gentle reminder you get out what you put in. Cracked House ....... Setting the bar at the moment,very consistent from the outset,pleasure to see,keep it going. Everyone has their own way,thats the beaty of this thread,It,s not a competition,much more about learning from others and honing our own betting patterns. Goodwood on the horizon,plenty more to look forward too,they say its only a game ...... |

Cheers Noct, i only play weekends and big meetings and big field handicaps, or if my tracker pops up (today's won ventura tormenta) had a bit at 10's Todays results outlay 6 pts returns 3.2 :( loss 2.8 Total p/l + 42.2 Slow and steady gets there eventually, keep taking the bookies doe ;) |
