A good race with some highly promising second season hurdlers back in action. The ground will be a big factor and the ability to act on heavy sticky ground will be at a premium. I’m very keen on Epatante and have backed expecting good to soft ground. If there is one horse that could be grade 1 performer she is high on the list. Soft or sticky ground wouldn’t be see her in the best light after watching her Kempton win.
Elusive Belle was 4/7 when beaten 2 lengths by Reserve Tank in the heavy Sandown ground so may be the answer on Saturday. 6/1 is too big.

Always a tough race to work out, plenty of young improvers to consider, Elusive Bell being one of them. I'm interested to see how Elvis Mail gets on amongst them, he's looked very good up here but this is different. I think his trainer is talented and could go places if he gets some decent horses.
Monsieur Lecoq loves the ground and the track at a price.
