not ante post but an interesting race and this place is more chilled than the horse racing forum . unbeaten fav has obvious chance but i like the look of a few bigger priced uns , applebys divine spirit ,down the field in the queen mary but may have found things happening too quick and been unsuited by the going and lack of exp and a well bred expensive purchase who should be suited by the step up in trip and around 10/1 could offer value . also having a few quid on watsons lambeth walk at around 30 or better on here ,another who was down the field in the queen mary and behind a few of the ones at the head of the market but interesting that connections of both horses reopose .both have a fair bit to find but in a field of lightly raced fillies and the change in conditions could improve . selection ...divine spirit win around 10s or better .........and lambeth walk 30 or better on here .........opinions welcome ...............
For me this year's Albany was a poor race. The Queen Mary was much better with Raffle Prize and Final Song both showing a higher level than Daahyeh. Like so often with these Ascot 2yo races though it's guesswork how much it'll take out of them and which ones will go forward, plus Final Song has to prove she can do it over 6f. With Daahyeh only 11/8 I would be on the layers side with that one rather than the backers.

Only just read this but came to the same conclusion. Despite the 3lb penalty, the Group 2 winner came out on top. Raffle Prize did start over 6f so Ascot might not have been her best trip.

Raffle Prize already had the form to win but an early look at that form seems like she has improved again. Will probably end up eventually going backwards like most of these Johnston 2yos but she'd going to be very difficult to beat in sprints at the moment and can see why they're aiming her at the Morny, as she'd have nothing to fear from what the colts have shown so far.
