It might not have been as eye catching a win as Battaash at Haydock but for me the best sprint performance so far this season was Mabs Cross at Newmarket. Not too surprising the hard race told on her only 3 weeks later but if she's back to form here she'll take some beating with the allowance. Backed.

In the Wokingham a good case can be made out for Fighting Irish at the weights . His best ever run was in last year's Commonwealth Cup and on that form he could well win here . 66/1 looks value and my pocket money is on him .
