Gosden has stated TDH is the worst managed horse of the year, and he's the happiest he's been all year with TDH.
I cannot agree more. To go up-in-trip for the Dante having missed the 2000G was a big boo-boo as he ought to have gone straight to the Irish 2000G, i believe. And, I still retain my faith in TDH; my money is on him against Pheonix Of Spain. |

There has been sustained support for TDH in the last few days; he's into 5/2 from 4/1. The question is could he go off shorter than PoS? If one believes his last two defeats were down to below par level of well-being and mismanagement by connections 5/2 could still represent value, I firmly believe, as he'd be long odds-on against PoS on 2 yr old form.
However, I'd accept he's not grown as much as the others of his age group since last season. But, I take consolation on Gosden's latest remark about him. |

which of the 2 will handle soft ground better ? Latest weather report ive had is much brighter weather for the weekend and beginning of next week, with rain threatened on thursday onwards . so we might start the meeting on good ground, if stickels doesnt start playing with his hose

Good or Good to Soft will not hinder either TDH or PoS. And, I'm expecting a decisive win from ether. Bring it on!

TDH headed CM, and Frankie reckoned the stiff mile at Ascot undid TDH; 7f beckons for TDH next, I believe.

The Racing Post Trophy has provided the winner of the English Guineas, The Irish Guineas and now the St James Palace. Usually this race is a pointer for the Derby but not this year.
