What a shame. Maybe that's why Gosden has yet to win this race (stand corrected). Let's hope he makes 2000G 3 weeks this saturday.

Impossible he won the race with kingman beat night of thunder who reversed the form at Newmarket,god knows how night of thunder ever beat kingman,kingman was a brilliant horse coming just two years after frankel he probably never got the credit he deserved to my eyes he was a better winner of both the greenham and the st James palace stakes than frankel,of course overall frankel was better.

Of course Gosden won it with Kingman. But how Night Of Thunder turned the form around beating Kingman (and Australia) in the 2000G was absolutely astonishing.

No further news from Gosden about TDH. I hope he's getting better and will make Newmarket next month. Without him the race is much of a muchness, I firmly believe.

in my mind a realistic point of view with heat in the leg would be 10 days walking and then slowly stepping it up . so i reckon he may get to the guineas if he takes the work , but , would not be on top form as it will come too soon . all the while the others are getting to pitch perfect . tdh if he arrives at the guineas will need to be something very special if he can overturn his circumstances . joe public wont know all this schmit , the guineas looks to have a lot of value about it , though i couldnt pick one at the moment

breeding wise shamardal was a tough 3yo , the mare was gash , but , hes the one that they like .

I hope TDH makes it as he's the horse I'm most looking forward to watching at the Guineas Meeting.

zakouski well thought of and done everything asked of him at home ,stepping up in class from the maiden win but the potential is there . a fella on the horse forum works in a stable i will ask him the time needed for heat in leg treatment concerning tdh  obv not an exact science  but he will have some idea .

I hope 3 weeks tomorrow will give TDH more than a fighting chance of making the Guineas. I also think a bit of heat on the splint bone is not rare for racehorses, but hope nothing untoward shows up in any scan (if taken) which could give rise to something more serious. No further update since wednesday when the news broke about the health of TDH; 7/4 but 9/4 (here) from 11/10.

looks like my thoughts were correct regarding tdh . skardu looked good in the craven and beat two very fancied types . people will say ahh but the two fancied didnt run their race . we dont know that , its a new season .

the other intuitive thing for punters is that the craven doesnt produce guineas winners and there may be a arrogance in that . maybe it does this time ?
