Has run consistently since it last won the race back in 2017 off the same mark. Ran a cracker in the becher first time out this season and was made too much use of making the running in the welsh national. Possibly saves his best form for flat tracks. Maybe he's had his chances in the National...or perhaps he needed to come down a few pounds but on Saturday I believe he represents cracking value at 14/1 in the trial.
I have backed Bishops Road . The accepted wisdom is that he needs soft ground but recent form suggests he is just as capable on good ground , if in the mood that is . He has Haydock form , is well handicapped and has a good claimer in the saddle . 33/1 looks like value to me for small stakes .

Agreed dunlaying...I backed it two years ago when it won this race. His record at Haydock is 132. Bit disappointing last two runs but if finding his form the track and distance look right.
