I only backed Coneygree yesterday as the stable seemed confident and he isn't even declared! That is a perfect illustration of why I very rarely bet ante post.

Puncle, last time I was on the same horse as you, it ended well with Dolphin Vista. Went for Singlefarmpayment at the start of the week 50's ew, but was aware of that handicap entry, so didn't go mad. Will certainly top up now at the 33's. GL

I was not going to bet on this race but the price against Bristol De Mai might force me into one.
It seems as if some people hold a grudge against him .

BdM drifting now, I could not believe how short he was earlier, course not flat enough or ground heavy enough for this horse. I like The Last Samuri at 5/1, the 6lbs is going to come in very useful for a consistent stayer who is normally giving weight all round

The stable form has to be a concern with BDM too.

I get the case for The Last Samurai - not carried a weight this low since he was runner up in the National nearly two years ago, he's not the biggest either so it has to help...

I am going to back American though.

Tea For Two the value at the moment. Third best on RPR and even closer on official ratings. Has beaten Bristol de Mai easily at Kempton.

Lost my ante post on Coneygree (how well would he have run), on the day Tea for Two (v. disappointing) and place only Definitely Red so a marginal loss.

well done uncle. I would have done the same with that price drop but the horse was never going at all.
