I think Byron Flyer could be a bit wrong in the market, 33/1 in a place. It's better off by 6lb for the run against Time to Study and double the price. I genuinely think that the rail won Time to Study the race at Doncaster

Facts had a look at Withold since you asked, wish I'd looked when he was 20's. I can see why he's been bet. Rated 87....Last 3 winners 87, 84, 87. Weight at moment 8:8...Last 4 winners 8:8, 8:7, 8:2, 8:8 Jockey, Sousa...Won 2 of last 4 runnings Beat London Prize last Oct. now 5lb better Beaten 3 lengths by Blakeney Point last Sept who was rated 77, now 100 Fresh horse, one run this season over 1m 4f, 3rd to Daphne and Weekender, seems good form considering needs further and 1st run of season. Won over 2m but extra 2 furlongs might not pose a problem. Roger Charlton had a 6-1 favourite in this a couple of years ago, didn't place though.

Mirsaale looks over priced to me for an under rated trainer. Ran in the Derby four years ago and is a capable hurdler on his day, finished between Moon Racer and Ballyandy at Cheltenham last autumn giving 4lb to the latter. Goes into the race in form off the jumps and will like the ground.

With the ground quickening all the time it could be a real burn up as theres some seriously good horses in this race so Im taking a small e/w chance on both Star Rider @ 66-1 and Oceane @ 50-1. Particularly like the latters place chance if he comes back to the form that saw him beat Nakeeta, The Cashel man and Star Selection at York last year - top drawer form and didnt shape too badly in the trial last time out. Has a tricky draw so will be dropped in and Georgia Cox is 1-2 for the yard.
Very tough race though.
