No thread - been waiting for one :)
Typical tough sprint but DOF was primed to run well last time out and he did... albeit lost a shoe or an ironll in the process.. but still unlucky not to win... I know the adage in Sprint races is they take turns to win... but feel this horse is the one to beat.
3rd in the race last year... so likely to turn up here.. . Main bet for me

Gutted that Edward Lewis not running. Backed all week from 14/1 to 7/1 clear Fav, and then withdrawn this morning..
Trainer deciding to run it in the Wokingham at Ascot. The reasons he gave, we're not influenced by recent issues.
He could just as readily made this decision, straight after the Dash. And saved pounders a lot of money.
My Royal Hunt cup ante post bet, also declared a non runner
. I'm seriously considering not betting AP. - and until after the 48 hour decs.

Hey Facts - been asking myself the same thing recently... been getting great prices but not the win.... and hit by non runners ...
Interesting though with AFJAAN pricewise suggested him strongly in the weekender....and doesn't turn up...and there in the know...
Trainers have some accountability - they never get pulled on this by media...who get pages by bookies.......

Also backed Edward Lewis 20s in the wokingham - knowing he will definitely show up... trainer thinks this is easier than this Sprint.. .
Only an idiot would bet in this race. I've done EL ASTRONAUTE 16-1 e.w.
He's one that's guaranteed not to have traffic problems. I'm expecting him to come over and grab the rail, probably needs a couple to find trouble behind but that's entirely probable.

Yeah - he came out of the gates badly ... although trying to go forward.... met a wall of horses... Kimberella ran well despite switching sides too...

very high draw doesnt look place to be after watching yesterday, backed excessable and orions bow both got no runs ( latter cod have been better ridden imo)
Backed LOR on his previous 4 starts but not on Saturday.
