Think Gosden is right ...main aim is DERBY why risk the horse in these conditions... I am hoping horses that get beaten not very far in Dante turn up for the Derby.. . As don't think the form would amount too much in these conditions if winner given a hard race...

The issue seems to be that no trainer wanted to submit a real Derby contender to the tough Dante 'test' with only 2 weeks to go to the Derby. (down to a late Easter or summat). Shirley there must be away of sorting the Dante to Derby gap without relying on the religious calender ...
