Yanworth is the only horse I'm looking forward to backing at Aintree esp if he turns up here; I think Buveur D'air will stick to 2m, and not clash with Yanworth again in the future ; I think Yanworth will be kept over 2m 4f or more.

I do not have the entries for the Liverpool Hurdle however, I do not believe Yanworth will run there, certainly not this season.

can't help thinking yanworth is vastly over rated at any distance

but good luck with your bet

why you looking forward to seeing yanworth. did you not watch the champion hurdle? he's slow.
Report impossible123 March 24, 2017 11:25 AM GMT
Yanworth maybe over-rated on his performance so far despite the merit of his Neptune conqueror Yorkhill in the JLT. Nevertheless, I'd still rate him higher than Buveur D'air (BD) over 20f, and longer; I hope Yanworth will take on BD in this race as Hendo has eluded to his intention to win the Trainers' Championship this season, and this could be BD's race.

why would you rate him higher? he got hammered by the same horse in the champion hurdle.

Yanworth was very poor in the CH but his runs at Kemptoon and Wincanton were sound imo. Not as good as Buveur D. perhaps but he didn't run anywhere near his form at Cheltenham.

I think he did, and is just slow.

I firmly believe 20f is more suited to Yanworth than Buveur D'air (BD). On the other hand I believe 20f is 2f too far for BD in a Grade 1 race. I hope both will run here to prove me correct (hopefully).

Yanworth did not run up to his best at Chelts??
Step up in trip will suit him, but still think Buveur d'Air is the better horse.

Can't see BD running here and Yanworth has to be opposed at the price.
If forced to bet now Jezki would be the one for me @ 14/1 - though will wait for definite news on his, and others participation.

A lot depends on Mullins and Elliot. They have half a dozen potential winners between them but will they run?
Report sageform March 29, 2017 10:09 AM BST
Can't see how anyone can say Yanworth ran to his best at Cheltenham. He had beaten My Tent or Yours, The New One and Sceau Royal comfortably in his last 2 trials and they all beat him in the CH.

Betting is suggesting Yanworth is an unlikely runner here.
Report ReaseHeath March 29, 2017 11:39 AM BST
He may run in Liverpool Hurdle over 3 miles instead...
Report Callisto-moon March 29, 2017 1:14 PM BST
My tent is better than yanworth

Just backed MTOY EW at 16/1 with Betfair.  Looks very big to me.  Didn't think Buveur D'air ran as well at Aintree as Cheltenham last year, even though he won and it may have taken the shine off of him again this time around.  TNO usually gets the wrong end of the argument with MTOY also.  I can't have Identity Thief on what he's shown lately and would expect MTOY to beat the other 2.

I appreciate 2.5m may be further than ideal, but the price IMO is too big.  Should Buveur D'airs class come through, 2nd place seems likely to me and you may even get the win.

Good Luck

RASHAAN 33s beat Apples Jade earlier in the season... clearly a good horse. I think it will be interesting to see how this horse fairs over further - will be intrigued to see how he runs.
