Yes ,can't wait to see the same horses every other Saturday running in 5 furlong sprints , especially love the ones where half the field drawn on the wrong side finish half a furlong behind.

Though I see what you are getting at, I think you picked the wrong race to be critical of...IMO, HR was o briens best 3yo of his generation, but due to his breeding, was sacrificed for better bred Coolmore horses of his era...much the same way Adelaide was for Australia.

Yeah can't wait to back that 'should have won' that got boxed in on the inside behind a wall of horses in that very unfair flat race
Same nags racing each other week in week out and wondering why racecourses still allow such massive draw bias's 'but it's fair and square'

Speaking of Faugheen, it's lovely to see him on the track along with Annie Power, Coneygree, Don Cossack and all the other stars. #raceoncethen****forayear

Prefer the flat there's so many big races spread throughout the season. NH nowadays with the sport dominated by expensive purchases noone cares about anything but Cheltenham. Good horse no longer run in handicaps - races like the Hennessy and the Whitbread used to be real highlights.

Like all of it but the jumps is much better for betting on imo.
The draw and luck in running plays such a huge part in flat races - even the top Grade 1's can be massively affected.

What is wrong with the flat racing on now? Southwell is a law unto itself but so is Pontefract on heavy ground. Kempton, Chelmsford and now Newcastle are attracting some nice horses and it is a seamless transition to grass these days.
