Punchestown Gold Cup .... Cue Card to get revenge?

Looking increasingly unlikely Vautour will run in this race.....he's been entered for the Oaksey Chase this saturday at Sandown Park.

damn, would be a cracking race.

And the Punchestown Champion Chase; Douvan is very likely to run in the Celebration Chase at Sandown.

I am one of those who backed Don Cossack in the KG, and backed Cue Card in the GC.
I will have to sit this one out i think.

Zen I did that too, thought cue card had the gold cup to be fair but thats life

I bet Don Cossack ante post for the Gold Cup, Cue Card was cruising when it fell in fairness (i bet it in the King George). My sister in law works with Mrs Brennan, was told to back it on Boxing Day only although Paddy Brennan swears he would have won at Cheltenham and on its Aintree performance i believe him. I think Punchestown will really play to its strengths too.
