Waley Cohen own part of the horse, so i think sam will ride.

think it's unfair on the horse and also unfair on the jockey to be pushed to this
you either are born with it or not to be top level it will not end well Long run was a fabulous horse and it wasn't fair that he didn't reach his potential |

just back after a few pints and did think the young master would be good antepost value
at 12\1, FFS he fell or jock jumped off at the first fence depending on your own view how could he be fav for this race. I think this horse and long run ( all about opinions ) are top class and if given a top jock would go on to prove same. But 5\1 fav my bad. |

Going to end up quite an average race.
Keeping my eye on Fox Appeal. |
|
By:
Me too, want to see him go again in a true paced 3 mile race.

That horse was my main bet in the Hennessey - was gutted when he unseated Sam... I hope he make amends - Yes Sam will definitely ride.
A bit concerning with Sam, but at least you will get a good price to reflect that but 5s is way too short at the moment, id wait until Saturday. |

Only 9 runners in this last year, 5-1 might not look so bad come Saturday.

Snapped up the 8/1 race vets were offering on Salubrious this morning, although the £50 ew i asked for was reduced by their trading team to £36.25 ew they are still offering 4 places
there might still be some value in their book. However i can no longer bet with them, they accepted that above bet then 5 mins later restricted me to sp only and a big fat 0.00 on antepost ![]() If i could ever figure out why i cannot upload pics onto here i would post the said emails and clips from the betslips for your enjoyment lol but alas, it never has and never will what am i doing wrong ![]() |

The Giant Bolster has an outstanding chance at the weights. His form behind Many Clouds and Smad Place last season reads very well. Unfortunately the race is not at Cheltenham but that is reflected in his price , 25/1 in places.

Backed Houblon des Obeaux each way.
|
|
By:
Ive backed both of Ventetia's in this
|

By:
The Young Master 15-2 looks tremendous value now.
|
|
By:
SoulDancer - why do you think such great value ? Not getting over a stone this year from Houblon now on levels
|
|
By:
Thought Houblon was value at 20-1 when some put him up earlier in the week but just feel The Young Master looks sure to run his race, ??? marks for most of the others.
|
|
By:
TYM is a horse I like and will follow his career, hoping Katenko is fit and ready here and if not then Houblon will do the business :)

|
By:
No luck for me there

SYC not at his finest again - should definitely been placed imho.
Given how well he rides the course I reckon the Grand National is the horses best chance of success this season. |
|
By:
From the way Young master was jumping ... you could see the horse is not as fit... don't think it was the jockeys fault as much...
Unclepuncle... absolutely agree with you - they'll be looking towards Aintree for this horse... SYC is one of the best jockeys around that course... put this horse in your notebooks for Aintree :) |

Mulholland is weighing up several options for The Young Master after he finished fourth in his repeat bid for victory in Sodexo Silver Cup at Ascot on Saturday.
The Wiltshire handler said: "The Young Master run really well as he was higher in the weights than last year. "Sam (Waley-Cohen) learnt a bit more about him and he showed he is in good form so you would have to be happy with that. "He has got several options now, like the Sky Bet Chase at Doncaster or the Betfred Classic at Warwick." |
