I'd be sending him. Not sure if they will though. Longchamp in October likely to have some cut though.

Think this race has a lot more 'development' in it. Trial races next month will tell us more I guess but at this stage it's hard to even know what will turn up other than the fav.

Found will win the Arc

But it must be pointed out that she has had a light campign ,so they might just be setting her up for a tilt at the arc ,rather than an after taught like usual .Also remembering she was taught of as a derby contender so maybe the lads have seen all these fillies winning the arc of late and taught after her early set back ,they may as well gear her towards it rather than pushing for the classics as is the norm .I think il a few pennys on her.

I honestly can't believe she is 25/1 for what already looks like it might be a sub standard renewal. Think it's a really fantastic price.

The thing that bothers me about found, is AOB not campaigned her like a Classic filly, why would that be? no Oaks,no KG? A strange stable.

MJ - look at the fillies he has (and Wachman), Legatissimo, Qualify, Wedding Vow, DiamondsandRubies, TogetherForever ...

The one thing AO'B said that really caught my attention was back before the Eng 1000, when he said she had a slight knee action and was the type "you'd like to look forward to all season" - immediately I thought 'Arc', especially with her performance in the Marcel Boussac.

So, she had three races and was taken out of the firing line - as he said himself the plan with her was to run her to Royal Ascot and ease off, then step her up in trip and ... (at this stage I think it's obvious what they're planning!)

I'm gonna check it out now, but I'd say in his 20 odd years with Coolmore he hasn't had a 3yo horse / filly  good enough to win an Arc, and be able to target them at the Arc. (given the Coolmore emphasis on Ire/Gb Classics, and Champion Stakes, QE2 etc..) the Arc has always been an afterthought, and you are just at such a disadvantage compared to those who can take a midseason break and target that one race.

Last year I argued that Taghrooda was a very big chance and there was a lot of stats about how KG winners fared in Arcs of that year, and it wasn't positive for her.

There's absolutely no-one better to target a race and get them spot on for the day than AO'B and if that has been the plan with a filly who a) likes a cut in the ground and b) was rated 117 as a 2yo, beating Ervedya under hands and heels, then wow she has some chance.

Treve will prove tough too crack this year.

Did Found do anything on Sunday though that suggested she's a better filly than the form she showed when finishing third in the Moyglare? She did travel very well and the way Heffernan held on to her for so long made it look even more impressive when he finally did let her go but I thought her previous best entitled her to win that race well and so did the market.

also, as with all his runners, she'll surely come on for that and bodes well for her to set new heights

Just wondered if Found will definitely run in the Vermille?  this looks like a bookmakers runner in the ARC(could turn up), they have gone too great lengths too cover her up this year,why expose in Vermelle?, otherwise if I had ffs and your view figgis, she would be the bet of the year in the Vermelle and not the ARC? by the way you could very well be correct.

MJ, I won't be backing her against Treve in the Vermeille if she does run. She'll be getting 8lbs but I have her about 21lbs behind on what I've seen, although it's often a slowly run race and tactics can be decisive. I can understand people thinking she might be an improving filly though and taking big prices on her for the Arc in anticipation of a price collapse, but I prefer to see her again.

Always felt Found wanted some cut in the ground the way she exploded away from Ervedya in France last year. This performance just confirms it imo.
