I think this is a race to avoid as I would not take 6/4 about Ervedya. However, I will be having some of the 33/1 about Flaming Spear in the Poulains if he runs on Sunday.

Stall 12 for Ervedya, but at least it is not a maximum field.

Ervedya could of fared better. She is quite a late foal you know and will probably improve all season. 15/8 is looking much better.I liked the look of Mexican Gold's win last time out but two behind her have been beaten since.Ervedya has the beating of the rest.

Potentially a class above these.

We are going from forum to forum, we'll bee dancing soon! Well above the rest.

Very hard to oppose Ervedya , Mexican Gold the obvious danger on belated late effort but does need to find 5 lb +(possible), I will stick with the fav.
In the Poulains,Karar must be of place interest, went way too soon latest , they could try different tactics?, at a much bigger price I do like Mr Owen and probably racing for third place but could well make that position his at least.(massive price alert) Obviously Highland Reel is the one too beat. |

Highland Reel sets a fairly low standard as fav in the French 2000. He's a very short price with lots of unknown quantities, potential improvers in the field and the possibility of a French crawl with luck in running playing a big part. Has to be a lay on value grounds for me.
