Some great racing yesterday. These were my highlights.
1. Jollyallen. A big backward looking horse with a huge stride but still able to win a decent 2 mile novice. I have backed him for the Neptune at 28 but might have a similar bet for the supreme. He looks more like a neptune type to me.
2. Stellar Notion. Made all in a competitive handicap and should stay further.
3. Coneygree. Will be very hard to beat in 3 mile novice chases.
4. Sad to say that I see Cue Card on a downward path which started in the KG last year.
5. Cape Tribulation. Ran on really well and the type that Ellison will line up for a nice race soon.
6. Close Touch. Well touted but was only Henderson's third chase winner of the autumn season. Looked very good.
7. Alvisio Ville looked very good but I had a small place bet on Aengus who kept on well in third and wants further.
8. A rare blank day for Philip Hobbs. Has his form started to dip? I hope that Gas Line Boy can disprove that today.
