According to the Clerk of the course. Entries won't appear until Monday 3rd November ! Seems ridiculously late, for such an important race .

Yes, I agree with you, what I have noticed is how these so called leaders
lean over backwards to help bookmakers, yet overlook the racegoers and
gamblers who actually keep racing afloat, this anomaly is throughout all of life yet we put up the worst of thinkers!!!

If we just knew the entries we could then
use our knowledge as to which horse has the best chance in our opinion.

Used to be a major antepost handicap but it's a fairly irrelevant race these days hence no entries before the 5 day stage. The jumps season starting earlier (Charlie Hall, James Nicholson etc) has gazzumped it basically.

I don't think it's just that uncle, they just want to take their wages without being really interested in  what their work is.

This race has been the same for the last few seasons. No idea who is to run until the 5 day stage.

You'd think bookmakers would be protesting tool. Think of all the Antepost  bet money they're losing due to withdrawals before the 5 day declarations !

Sint went down to place bet and met an old school friend

At this stage - Mount Logan stands out  at 10/1

Dashing Star should have a chance. handles cut well, negative is a hard race 2 weeks ago.

Looks like it will be very soft come Saturday.

Bazzar - assume it's Odeon? Big drop in grade and like the jockey booking, but even if well enough handicapped he looks a non-stayer on very soft going if he handles it all?
