Magician and Ryan Moore for me if he turns up. Not had a hard season and after winning back to back Breeders Cup turf would be ideal. Last year Dunaden was beaten about 2 lengths by Gentildonna and Magician would beat him further in my opinion. Lsst time Magician met Gentildonna he was favourite to win but it was his first time out and Gentildonna was race fit and sbe won last years Japan Cup. Plus AOB's Meydan runners seemed to need the run. Not sure I would fear the Arc horses but none bad great trips so probably unreliable form but Gold Ship was well down tbe field last year and I'm not convinced Just a Way stays 12f. Trouble is AOB is hard to read.

Flintshire would look the part,ROTW not great on a quick surface?, but Flintshire gotta go to Breeders? Telescope looks the job in the Breeders if flintshire goes here instead?

I have some ideas, but I do not like to post on here, this is going to sound very vain, but a friend who manages a bookies told me the other day that , he reads the Racing Post every day and he told his wife that I have more success than the tipsters in the Post, also he won the most money ever when backing the two I gave on Saturday, which was a very welcome compliment, but I said that those paper tipsters were at a disadvantage because if he owned a horse and some idiot in the post tipped then a possible big price would disappear, hence the horse not on a going day.

Apologies for capitals in my previous post, forgot to change to other!!! I do strongly fancy a horse for MELBOURNE CUP and two for BREEDERS CUP in different races, consider my suggestion and reject or accept, up to you.

Looks a strong field assembled for this years Japan Cup, shame there are only two horses from Europe flying the flag but we have a couple of Japanese runners who ran in this years Arc. It's no surprise Harp Star and Just A Way are short prices for this but I'm ready to take both of them on for various reasons. The main one is the poor record of horses who have ran in this after the Arc, Deep Impact won it after his Arc defeat/disqualification but a fair few have tried and failed to win and that's enough for me to give them a swerve.
Gentildonna is very consistent and it would be a magnificent achievement for her to win 3 on the bounce. She had a nice prep in the Tenno Sho (Autumn G1 10f) and it sounds like she's in the form of her life from what her connections have said. A lot to like with Moore back on board and a good draw but on the short side for me in a competitive race.
I like to try and find some value and I've backed Epiphaneia 14-1 EW 4 places. He ran a nice prep in the Tenno Sho (Autumn G1 10f) after a long break (April) and only finished a couple of lengths behind the winner Spielberg even though he pulled really hard for half the race. Epiphaneia is still unexposed at 12f+ trips, he's ran 3 times winning 2 races (G1/G2) and finishing a very close second in the 2013 Japanese Derby. I really think this is his best distance and with a good draw and Soumillon taking the ride he will do for me.

That was an awesome performance by Epiphaneia, still in a bit of shock how easy he won. I was a bit worried before the start the way he sweated up and was on his toes but he settled so much better this time and it was very similar to his Kikuka Sho (15f) win last year.
