Can't see this race anywhere in the list , good to see Bronze angel and Horsted keynes running over a mile and hopefully before the rain arrives they can both run to form on a sound surface . Tregoning who trained Mubtaker to run second in the arc a few years ago now has finally found opportunities for Bronze angel in 2014 and not before time, as he was starting to look a character as they say , he was probably unsuited by the ground last week and can do better here if the surface stays firmish , same goes for Horstead Keynes who looks a miler and may be a bit more experienced now , take these two against the field win and place GL

I backed Our Channel yesterday at big odds and at 12/1 he still has some value but Two For Two is drifting and at 20/1 is too big a price.

Got it down to Fort Bastion and Heavy Metal,the first named got a good draw,is unreliable but well handicapped,the later is rejuvenated,will bet both with more of a place bet on fort bastion(who looks the value?)

On Velox ante-post at 11/1 and 7/1. Looks progressive, ground and trip are plum.

Velox for me as well but a little surprised they didn't keep Cam Hardie on? His 5lb claim would have been useful. Also I've backed Red Avenger ew at 25's purely on his Epsom run where he is 10lb better off with Velox, his trainers horses are also in much better form and he has course form as well, a good draw, everything in place for a big run but two things deter me, when I go ew they usually finish out of the frame

Don't worry about Pricewise tipping red Avenger , he recommended backing MJ Horses through July in all the big handicaps , that kind of advice is gold dust , if i fancy a Horse and Pricewise does as well I always put a bit more on , his e/w record in these impossible handicaps is still right up there GL today

No it's more when me and pricewise go for the same horses the end result isn't the best. Despite what a lot say he does talk a lot of sense and to be honest tipping horses is a thankless job. I love the big handicaps, decent prices and great rewards if you hit the target. GL to everyone especially if you're on the same ones as me

that's pretty shocking given the winners would not have been attainable at said odds. What will happen though is he'll hit a few big winners in a row and the media will be in overdrive again.

backed Steeler at 20/1 ew, ran a blinder in Hunt Cup on return from Dubai (usually takes the Godolphin horses until September to get back in gear!), G1 placed as 2yo and 2/2 at Goodwood...
...and Capo Rosso at 33/1 ew - won under similar conditions at Ripon earlier this season with Two For Two behind him, admittedly latter has reversed the from since but not convinced Capo Rosso's last two runs represent his ability and taking a chance he'll bounce back today. Good luck. |

Well first of all Jimmy Fortune was fantastic and can't understand why he doesn't get more rides? Anyway cheers, good result, got him in a Trixie with a couple at Galway
