Looks to have lost a leg sometime in the last 24 hours by the betting. I'm sure once 'they' have filled their boots we will find out what's going on.

Leg seems to have grown back pretty quickly, think Nicholls issued upbeat bulletin, so who knows? Maybe a schooling ground fall or similar?

Yeah i thought schooling fall was most likely. the leg does seem to have re-appeared.

Did he not say in an interview a couple of wks ago that he thought the great race would prob come a year 2 soon for him ??? only a 7yo Plain
I would be surprised if he lined-up next wk

He said that before the horse was withdrawn from the Gold Cup on raceday. I think they're running just to give him some experience of it now tbh but I could be wrong.

My idea of a horse that will go very well in the National - excellent form credentials, will be fresh and well for the race, reasonably treated at the weights, not over hyped and anything above 20/1 a steal, will be well supported over the coming days IMO. Dont understand the drift, maybe he came back after his gallop with a minor issue thats not been reported but PN has not mentioned anything, only Laddys 25, the rest 20s, decent price for a horse of his race credentials.

Rocky now solid enough on BF and once Ladbrokes move to 20s in line with the rest his odds will shorten on here, cant believe the price, 2nd in the Hennessy FTO this season is cracking form to take into this race as is his last race at Cheltenham, largely slipped under the hype radar this one, last chance to get on at a massive price before this weeks inevitable contraction of prices.

I like RC too, wouldn't have fancied him from a class perspective in a GC but looking how that race panned out...who knows!!, can only have helped him missing that race in terms of the national, gone off triolo on that basis.....the hennessy run and the argento perfectly acceptable runs and can see him gaining support through the week too.
