Module will be a better horse with age over a longer trip. He's still a young horse and certainly can't write him off after his first couple of runs out of novice company.
I have stated it on previous threads but Tom George has handled him wrong imo and blown a good handicap mark for the paddy power and gone for too ambitious races. I know the trainer said he wasn't ready for big field handicaps yet, but he entered him in a 14 runner novice hurdle at Cheltenham (that he won) on his first start in the UK as a 5 year old. Not sure what race he can go for next, or his long term target in the spring. But it has to be 3 miles. |

Module, is one to avoid, what people aren't considering is the possibility that he is idle, you can see it in his races, he's on and off the bridle all the time, people are saying that he was flat out the whole 2.4 miles, well, what should he have been like over 2 then at exeter with cue card making the running!!! tailed off perhaps? yet during that race he travelled very well , in parts!! and even hit the front briefly before they turned in, and all this with a howler of a mistake put in early on, no, he's one to avoid for me because his run style and jumping frailities will always hinder him.
