Old Roan Chase

Not the best of entries at all really. Last year's wasn't really up to much either though tbh. Wishful Thinking if he's on a going day. Even though this is a poor race it will be hard for him giving weight all round.

Conquisto could be a decent each way play. Him and Edgardo Sol look like the only other horses who could have an hint of improvement in them. Walk On will be there or thereabouts again but more than likely will find 1 too good again.

poor renewal but I think walkon will win always runs well first time out and soft going no problem wishful thinking respected but usually needs a run after a long break

Shockingly poor this time by entry...   Kauto Star was beat in this race one year, by guess who?

This would be comfortable for the likes of Cue Card.

  The MONETS GARDEN Old Roan Chase:  This wonderful grey would be a big "odds on"  Saturday against this lot imo.

I thought it was a bad one at first glance but the more I look at it the more I fancy Walkon,him and WT are the two real class horses in the race and with Kings horses running far better this year coupled with Walkons very good fto record, I think 9/2 looks pretty fair.

Walkon wasn't looking great prior to giving the jockey one hell of a fall. Poor renewal.
