He has to buck a major trend if he is to win.
He will be the first horse in Arc history to have 4 words to his name.
Report OliasOfSunhillow October 4, 2013 3:17 PM BST
His sectionals were significantly inferior to Treve and he was all out to do them whereas Treve was hindered

brandy....lol
olias...ROTW drawn 6, Treve drawn 15...i can live with that.

Anymore neg's....Cheers

To be fair Ruler Of The World didn't have the clearest of runs, having to be switched one way then the other.

Having watched the Niel a few times today i keep changing opinions on who should of won. ROTW had a far from smooth passage and in another stride would of won the race. But i think Take on board Kizuna rides his finish just to beat the Fabre horse Ocovango and doesn't see ROTW finishing. Take tries to give Kizuna as easy a ride as he can, i think, knowing the Arc is the race not the trial. He drops his hands a stride or two from the finish thinking the job was done not noticing ROTW finishing fast.

Tend to agree brandyonthe rocks.Kizuna is a fast fast horse tactical and finishing speed
Report OliasOfSunhillow October 4, 2013 5:24 PM BST
San Quentin, its hard to come to your conclusion based on the sectionals
Report brandyontherocks October 4, 2013 5:51 PM BST
Olias, I think its hard to rely on sectionals taken from trials. Especially from a French race.

I've backed it

thaar ye go

2 reasons it won't win amongst 3 year olds & that's EVEN before you consider the monster ORF
1. Kizuna won easy
2. Stable thinks LL is their no 1

keep trying guys...

the closest anyone's put me off so far is judorick!!

Stable thinks LL is their no 1

Since when have they ever known which is their best runner in a race?

Think ROTW has a solid ew chance imo, gd draw, ease in the ground suits & top class jock on top. Think he can make the 4 & will take a small interest in that market on here.
Gd luck with your 25s bet tt.
Report rogerthebutler October 6, 2013 6:06 PM BST
Probably just me who thought Ryan Moore gave ROTW an awful ride.
Report FELTFAIR October 6, 2013 6:38 PM BST
Horse just not good enough.
Report rogerthebutler October 6, 2013 8:32 PM BST
Good enough to be perfectly placed coming into the false straight.

Then good enough to come from last to staying on seventh after it got left behind when the race started in earnest.

Would it have won? No, of course not.
Report Millerracing67 October 8, 2013 1:04 PM BST
Having viewed the race a few times now, ROTW was badly hampered on the bend into the home str & got shuffled back to near last, did well to run on in gd style from 2f out to finish where he did imo. He would not have won the race or got into the 1st 3 imo, but could have had a chance of 4th granted a smoother passage from the home bend imo, his form with the 4th horse Kizuna backs that up.
Report tashkent terror October 9, 2013 6:26 AM BST
Horse was obviously not good enough although i thought the jock was a bit slow realising the race had started and it was shuffled backwards at the critical stage. A more alert jock would have taken money home (5th place paid £112K).

Anyone know if ROTW is training on next year ??
Cheers.
