The more i look @ the race @ the moment the more i fancy him ...same year in year out race full of 2 - 2 Half milers hoping to get the 3m round kempton ...Dynaste is certain to stay hopefully jump round and certain to go for the race it will cut up so that there will be only @ most i would say be 10 runners half ov which wont stay....my opinion is that Dynaste is a must for the race and still think 6-7 2 1 is a monster price as on the day he will go off no bigger than 7/2.... cant wait but i said the above 12 months ago Grand Crus and that was shattered after his run in the paddy power so fingers x things turn out better this season...as matt would say GET ON !!!
If only the Irish trainers took the race seriously he would have little chance.
Sir Des Champ, First Lieutenant, Flemenstar and even Sizing Europe would be well ahead of him on my reckoning. You'd have thought that with SDC and FL in the same ownership it would make sense for one of them to come across the Irish sea, though they both ran in the Lexus last year.

He hasn't done enough to interest me. Very early to be betting on a race on Dec 26th in any case. Cue Card would beat him out of sight over 2.5 miles and if he turns up he might well beat him over 3 miles round Kempton.

A fair point re the Irish runners. Hopefully they all go for the Lexus as usual.
I think Dynaste looked great last year on Boxing Day. Brilliant also at Aintree, another flat track. If he turns up just as good this year, I think he'll take all the beating.
A small saver on Long Run might make a bit of sense, if the going is very soft he does grind it out at Kempton.....

I was looking for this thread. Good to see it back up near the top. 6 or 7 to 1 is short enough three months out but I like seeing these predictions coming out well. Good luck.

Cue Card - I expect him to win this impressively on route to the Gold Cup. Excuses for past losses, closest to Sprinter Sacre. Al ferof maybe the only possible challenger. Dynaste and Silvianno weren't good enough last time, and even with improvement following their first run, I expect the same result. Long run, maybe interesting for the Grand National, but this will be too fast for him. Menorah, jumping issues, and even if he performed well, may struggle. Riverside theartre, have a saver at massive prices in running. Mount benbulben, not good enough to trouble these, but could sneek a place if things go his way.
If cue card drifts to 9/2 on the day, it's a Christmas gift from him upstairs.
