Lightning Spear Kempton 7.20 19th August. Time in Racing Post given as 1m 26.56. Time in Sporting Life 1m 25.56 and Attheraces 1m 25.56 also. So Is the RP one wrong do you think?
Hadn't noticed that, Stevie. So much racing it's difficult to keep on top of scrutinizing all the poor stuff. I find that the RP times are usually the correct ones when there's a discrepancy, it's also the only site that states when hand times have been used. Just had a very quick look at the video and it looks to me that RP time is correct.

My ratings also point to the RP time being correct, the bunched finish wouldn't fit comfortably with ratings a second faster. I have Shafrah running below his debut form and Intermedium disappointing once again after a promising debut. The winner was well backed though and may be capable of better.
