Looks a cracker though, 18 entries, all closely rated.
Sajjhaa Ambivalent Secret Gesture Sky Lantern Hot Snap Just The Judge Winsili Banoffee Thistle Bird Talent Magical Dream Just Pretending Scintilulla Moment In Time Integral
Prices depending obviously but I really like Just The Judge for this. Before her second in the Guineas I backed her at 25/1 for the Oaks. She didn't run there but then was a nice winner of the Irish Guineas over a stiff 8f. A step up to 10f is going to be right up her street imo.
Hot Snap I always thought would come into her own in the second part of the season/4yo and is actually rated higher than JTJ by 1lb, but i'd want to see more proof she is G1 class tbh.
Will Sky Lantern stay the trip?
Ambivalent won a weak renewal of the Pretty Polly in Ireland, though they can't allow her a soft lead.
Secret Gesture is interesting if they come here instead of German Oaks.
Hopefully no more than 10 turn up on Sat for this, less chance of trouble in running. The ground as always will be important come Sat, Hot Snap would be very interesting on easy ground, I think she needs cut to show her best imo.

yes an interesting race indeed, sky lantern would be a certainty over a mile, but 10 fur?, cant have just the judge, hot snap, might go for bolgers scintilla, but must be a doubt of him running so soon

I think Sky Lantern will win but can't be having her at 3s which is what Coral have opened at. Questions of trip (which i think she will get) but also reluctant to back horses who have races in a relatively small time period.

If the 5day weather forecast in correct Hot Snap will not get the ease in the ground she needs. Its to be warm sunny weather from Weds to Sat, its will be fast ground come Sat. The Hannon filly will have no probs with the 10f trip imo, she will take the beating on fast ground.

Agree Uncle. Was expecting her to be about 5/1 so I have bet her at that price. Secret Gesture is the other i'd consider but it looks a competitive race so they might opt to go to Germany for their Oaks the day after so i'll wait on backing her.

I took 9/1 e/w in the hope that it cuts up a bit. I still expect a place rather than a win if I'm honest.
If all the main players stand their ground then it is going to be a belting race.

I don't see many dropping out tbh. Hot Snap may not run if it is too fast which is unlikely given how much the Clerk there waters, and there is a chance Secret Gesture may go to Germany on Sunday as far as i'm aware. Other than that ...

I really like Integral in this. She has course form and was hugely impressive at Sandown last time. A big step up in grade but a potent turn of foot will hopefully see her prevail.

FFS, Just The Judge most likely not running. Forgot the same ownership issue at Secret Gesture and Charlie Hills saying he doesn't want her to have another run on quick ground!

Have to wait until they are going into the stalls to find out what will actually run. I'm sure they all intend to if the going is what they want but I fear mass withdrawal if there is no rain.

I think Integral is top class, and sure she's got a few good ones to beat today but she murdered the a listed field last time and I thought Moore was giving her a lesson, came right from the back to sweep past in the space of about 2 furlongs.
Sometimes you've gotta got go with your gut!

Took a little bit of the 9s ew this morn about Hot Snap, she needed that 7mm of the wet stuff overnight & the step-up in trip will suit, only the track would be of concern for her. (& some other gd fillies of course) GD luck all.

New strip of ground down the far side ended all hopes for runners there. Hence finishers down the outside, winner, 2nd and 3rd were racing on better ground. Ridiculous state of affairs for a Group 1 track and a Group 1 race.

^ Just The Judge was reported to have ripped a shoe off early on and had a bad cut - she clearly took a bad step or clipped heels after about a furlong so maybe it wasn't a bad ride from Spencer.
I should have stuck to my guns and just layed Sky Lantern as she was always likely to have that sort of passage which on top of the stamina doubts made her price very skinny to my eyes.
