I had a look at the 2000 thinking that its a two horse race but then having had a better look at things it might not be, its true to say that there doe snot look to much quality in depth in the race but this horse has a better chance than may seem apparent.
He was drawn all wrong int he Coventry and yet managed to finish only a length behind Dawn Approach and then it seemed things conspired against him through the remainder of the season with the ground and lso a slip up putting pay to to much progression.
However now he comes to the 2000 as a bigger stronger horse and for the first time he may actually get a bit of fast ground which he is crying out for, his sire loved it and he has not had the chance to show what he can do on the likely ground, providing rain stays away he has an excellent chance in this race and may have been overlooked due to his race record, he does have more than enough excuses to allow him a bit of consideration, the same may apply also to the other o brien horse George Vancouver but for me its the former selection who could surprise them all in this.
Manuel I do respect your opinion but not sure how you can say he has been overlooked - he's 3rd favourite?
Actually think he's a poor price for what he has achieved, all AOB hype and the fact JOB has chosen him.

Good luck Manuel. What is your opinion on having a young jockey like Joseph O'Brien on board, as opposed to someone like Johnny Murtagh ? I mean some people are obviously thinking about the NA and HTN guineas in 2008 i think it was. Would a 18/19 y/o Murtagh won that race either ?

with you on chriso coloumbo manuel , ground coming right and only a length to make up on bolgers hoss on royal asc ot form ,around 12s on here looks fair ,seems a similar scenario to the henrythe nav new approach guineas with the right connections who have been there and done it extra distance will suit so a lot to like ,am on today and will top up tommorow if it stays dry good luck.

Anyone give this horse a chance for tomorrows breeders cup mile? obviously things haven't gone to plan this season so far and the horse missed four months of the season after the 2000 Guineas but by Henrythenavigator, so will love the fast ground. plus Its never truly had fast ground in its career and its Coventry Stakes third beaten a length surely makes it worth a small bet at 16/1
