Well I've had a good bet on Big Occasion based primarily on noting it as given a very tender ride, Master Overseer keeping the weights down and Ennis claiming 7lbs which puts him on 114 (carrying 9st 7lbs). Achieved a RPR of 134 when winning over hurdles on heavy and this looks a plot. Worth a poke at 16s I thought.

Anyway, here's my rating which pretty much is an assessment of how much better they could run than their BHA mark if running to their max (in pounds):

Master Overseer  1
Tarquinius  5
Cool Operator 7
Chac Du Cadran  5
Mortimers Cross 9
Our Island  6
Rapidolyte De Ladalka 3
Rhum 4
Big Occasion 14
Netminder  4
Captain Americo 10
Monsieur Cadou  1
Dusky Bob 6
Boris the Blade 3

my two against the field are Big Occassion and Captain Americo but I much prefer the Pipe horse given what I've said at the top. Of course there are question marks about the trip, his age and so on. But  he could be chucked in.

good luck judorick he is definitely the unexposed one in the race but i have had to go with his other master overseer time and time again a touch of  class comes through in this race primarily made up of moderate northern handicappers i have bet him due to bellamy taking 7lb off i hope he gets out in front and gradually grinds them into submission

Agree with that Judo, BO cud be very well in here - Ennis a 7lb gift - but he can be moody so he's a win bet 4 me. Seems to be alot of pace on here and that will suit CA tho his jumping can be sketchy to say the least - a small win cover that's it.

well the market is funny

13.5 on here, 12/1 standout with Lads and as short as 8/1 with Spoyles

Either there is gonna be a massive gamble and he goes of 9/2 or, well, something different

Big Occasion continues to shorten

good poke at 16s Jud. I like the progressive Chac du cadron, but you've spotted a good angle, will have a little saver on it.

thanks!
