Bit of a pathetic field:

Farhh
Moonlight Cloud
Caspar Netscher
Sarkilya

No Excelebration although was declared earlier in the week. Must be injured  - or maybe a sudden decision to retire to stud?

All of O'Briens horses have been taken out of the Arc trials on Sunday, he did have horses in the Foy, Niel & Vermeille

Anyone aware of a reason for all of those withdrawals?
I can't use Twitter but I believe Aidan's wife keeps the public informed of such developments.

Imperial Monarch, Was, Treasure Beach, Excelebration & Power were his main hopes in the big races, and he had a few rags in as well as pacemakers.
It can't be anything to do with the wellbeing of any of them unless they've ALL got a virus - is the ground really testing?

All I can think of is that his plane's got a flat tyre or needs a starter motor Crazy

I would say that none of them were ever intended runners, given that they have all been withdrawn. They just leave there horses in until very late decs. Lots of the top yards do it.

Sint - I can't recall EVER seeing mass withdrawals like that before...can you?
I'm really astonished by this.

Only when there has been extremes of ground have I seen trainers pull their runners out...though nothing like this O'Brien business Surprised

I cant remember no but then I have never followed entries as closely before as I do now. There have been no updates on Twitter from his missus.

I'm not aware of any of the other top trainers doing it Like Ballydoyle. Don't recall O'Brien withdrawing all of them before either. Not uncommon for him to have about 6 in then whittle it down to 2 or 3 - but nothing like this. Nothing about it in the media either. He had horses in all the Group 1s left in at all the forfeit stages this week - then today they're all "N DEC.PART". All very odd.

Willie Mullins does it over Jumps. Certainly did it a lot last season.

4 runners and.....
Report EastLower Gooner September 14, 2012 9:49 PM BST
Thierry Jarnet will still find trouble in-running.

No pace on .. and Moonlight Cloud will nail them all imo.

Yeah Farhh more of a 10f horse probably- but guess MC will be a short and I would be prepared to bet he can make all and run the finish out of her if the price is right.
