betfair show th e distance as 1m 2f...should be 1m 4f aprrox.

danedream could be vulnerable if slow pace states trainer.

trouble is   can't make up my mind pastorius won germ derby by head from novallist by a head.

pastorius since impressive over 1m 2f,but novallist had a huge reputation before derby and gave up the outside to no one and still went close.tricky.

Buick is a very smart move...he's excelled himself in France taking full advantage of the slower pace races. Could capitalise here. Quite concievable that this will turn out to be his Arc ride (hinge on Nathaniel's involvement...big win in the Irish Champion could set up a fine clash vs Frankel or perhaps the Breeders Cup...Gosden loves Santa Anita).

Really good test for both him and Pastorious....

Think this Danedream formline is the Arc formline to stick too.....Meandre, Shareta have backed up the form....then there's that beast No Risk At All still lurking around. made mince of Meandre before the Grand Prix Du Saint Cloud. Prix Foy will be interesting with Orfevre possibly in the mix.

I'm all over Orfevre for the Arc but Danedream's the one I fear most. It will be an interesting trial tomorrow with the German Derby form coming into play but I will be surprised if they can turn over Danedream. The predicted Good ground might not suit some of them as well.

I did notice Racing Post have Pastorius on the same RPR (139) as Danedream, his last run must have impressed them for him to be that high!!!

I know No Risk At All has been Pricewised but he's not for me ELG. All his form has been between 8F and 10F and his only try beyond that ended with a spanking in the 2010 Prix Du Jockey Club finishing 16th. I would be worried that connections haven't tried him over 12f, his pedigree screams 12f+ as well.

You're right about the Saint-Cloud form, it's worked out a treat but it was a funny old race and I'm not sure the finishing order would be the same on a left handed track. All the best with your Meandre bet though, Fabre has worked his magic again and he does look to be peaking at the right time.

The Prix Foy should be a corker, Soumillon gets his first chance to ride work on Orfevre Monday at Chantilly. Hopefully all goes well.

I thought this looked odd, the RPR for Pastorius has changed this morning on the Racing Post website to 130!!! The Going description is Good to Soft now as well.

Probably a misprint first time, MR DINOS.
Look who rode PASTORIUS last time.
Report MrDinos September 2, 2012 1:27 PM BST
Yep, another error from the RP team, 139 in yesterday's iPad App Edition as well. I have to say the iPad App is the best thing RP have done, very impressed.

Starke would never jump off Danedream! Cool
Report bazzar September 2, 2012 1:47 PM BST
How good and how much will they charge for the APP, MR DINOS?
Report bazzar September 2, 2012 1:53 PM BST
These mistakes are not new, I remember a few years ago an American horse
had set up a time for 10F equivalent to a slow 8F time, E-mailed the racecourse and they informed me that the timing device had broken down just after the mile post,
informed RP and they corrected the time to a hand held time.
Report MrDinos September 2, 2012 1:55 PM BST
There is 30 day free trial at the moment but I think it's going to be £1.99 for daily editions after the trial ends. Very slick to use Baz, if you've got an iPad I would highly recommend it.

In many cases an enthusiastic amateur is more accurate than a paid but press - ganged employee, in other words they are not REALLY interested, where an enthusiast is, to the point of pedantism.
Report MrDinos September 2, 2012 2:00 PM BST
Can't argue with that Baz! I should know better by now.

Got an IPAD, but am useless with computers of any sort, probably only
operate at 10%, if I knew more I'm sure I would be rally dangerous,
grandson taught me the info I needed and lives too far away to
get updates and corrections.
Can APPLE IPAD take videos, have a camera as part of icons but no idea if video can be used, do you know?
Report bazzar September 2, 2012 3:13 PM BST
A 5.2% reduction works out at nearly 10%, who are BETFAIR kidding?
Come on fairness and honesty, PLEASE!!!
Report MrDinos September 2, 2012 3:24 PM BST
Yes it can Baz, the camera and video are pretty poor to be honest. Tap the camera icon and then move the slider in the bottom right corner to the video camera icon. Then to record video, tap the red dot which is middle right of the screen. Hope this helps Baz.

Back to Danedream, looking forward to seeing how she gets on! Not long to go now.

really cant split these 3...going to sit out.
Report bazzar September 2, 2012 4:02 PM BST
Thanks a lot MR DINOS, will try it out.

EASTIE, cannot view, did she win as easily as last year?
Report MrDinos September 2, 2012 4:16 PM BST
Cosy but workman like. Ovambo Queen ran another good race, franking the Meandre form!
Report MrDinos September 2, 2012 4:24 PM BST
I still don't think Danedream enjoys going left handed but she won again. Good trial for the Arc and Danedream backers should be confident of another big run.
Report EastLower Gooner September 2, 2012 4:42 PM BST
Orfevre vs Meandre in the Foy should be good. SeaMoon to anchor down the form.

Nice hard race for Camelot in the Leger will do nicely....wipe out the 3yr old challenge :)
Report MrDinos September 2, 2012 4:56 PM BST
It should be some showdown in the Prix Foy. You cannot knock the Meandre form now, that Ovambo Queen pushed Danedream all the way to the line.

There is a good write up on the sportinglife site, plus what the jockeys instructions were
and I must add, sounded like the instructions were adhered to.

Probably the most underrated Arc winner in recent times considering the time and style of her victory last year roll on the first Sunday in October.

Has anyone got site address to re-view DANEDREAM win on Sunday, please?
Youtube or something similar, thanks in advance.
