Put up one of the most davastating performances of the season in the Gallinule Stakes last time out and he produced that on only his 3rd racecourse start,i gave him a higher figure for that run than anything else in this field bar Camelot has produced, with further improvement still to come,i am more than confident that he will put up a mighty performance on saturday. Have also backed him at 24/1 each way in the normal market,as if Camelot does not bring his absolute A game, then he will be there to take advantage.
Trainer Dermot Weld has confirmed Gallinule Stakes winner Speaking Of Which for the race although he warned that the horse could be an absentee if rain continues to fall at the Curragh, where the going is described as soft, heavy in places after 20mm of rain on Wednesday night.
Weld said: "The ground has become very testing and if there is any more rain then Speaking Of Which would have to be considered a very doubtful runner.
"He's a top-of-the-ground horse and earned his place in the race when winning the Gallinule Stakes by nine lengths last month.
"That was over a mile and a quarter on fast ground. It is nobody's fault that conditions have changed overnight, but I want to let the public know the situation."

The racecourse manager, Paul Hensey, was pleased with a positive weather forecast and said that the race programme had been arranged to provide as much fresh ground as possible for the Derby runners.
"It's been a dry, sunny day with a good wind getting up and if we get another one of those on Friday, we'll be improving quickly," he said. "The Curragh is a very quick-drying course. I remember when John Oxx pulled Sea The Stars out of the race a couple of years ago after we had some very heavy rain a couple of days before the meeting, it was near enough perfect ground by the time of the race.
"We have 12 metres of fresh ground kept up our sleeves railed off for the Derby from the start of the race to the six-furlong marker and the runners will be on the stands side for the races on the straight course."
fingers crossed*
