Novellist is Germany's new star and he is supposed to be rather good! Looks a true stayer, he goes for the The Deutsches Derby next...

Surely the Arc has to be on his agenda if he wins well?

I have learnt, and it's been quite an expensive lesson, not to get too involved with Wohler 3-y-os in the Arc.  He doesn't even enter them let alone run them and is very much part of the old school in allowing horses to mature.

The role of honour for the Arc would disagree with this approach but if Lomitas and Scalo weren't deemed ready it would take a proper shift in trainer behaviour for this lad to end up being supplemented I would think Sad

Cue middle aged Englishmen wandering around Rudesheim in a straw Hat asking in bars for Herr Wohler whilst England do the dirty and actually qualify for the latter stages of the EurosLaugh

Think its safer sticking to viewing the castles and general sceneryPlain

Lovethehigherlaw, that link you posted did not work for me, just advertising,
can you give me one that will work, please?
Report The Headmaster June 15, 2012 4:18 PM BST
Go on www.youtube.com and type the horse's name in.  The addition of 'Wohler' in teh search box may help reduce your returns.

Thanks head.

Novellist form just franked again, but I still suspect it will need someone to buy into him for the Arc to become a target. Sad

Why do you say the form franked, head?

All Shamar, who couldn't get near Novellist on his previous start, had just won a lively Group 3 at Dortmund, bazz.

If Schiergen trained this thing I'd be definitely getting him well onside for Paris.

Schiergen is a top trainer, proved it for me before he won Arc and
his jockey is top, but he blotted his copybook in Japan by giving DANEDREAM too much to do,
the type of ride a jockey riding regularly in Britain does, wish our jocks would learn.
Watched MOORE riding closer to the pace on OPINION and HUGHES doing the same on LIBRANNO,
wonder if the message is getting through?
