MANUELPADILLAJNR,i agree with your theory, had a few near misses myself doing this, treasure beach, golden sword and the great gatsby being three of them, but there's a rumour that only Camelot and Astrology are going to be his only runners, just a rumour though as with most things from AOB's stable, have taken a chance on that being true and backed Astrology, good luck and hope you get a run for your money

Astrology was the other one i liked as that horse managed to quicken in bad ground also at the Chester meeting but then his price and that of Father of Science are vastly different, on the rumour thing i wouldnt pay to much attention to all that, my logic on that would be that if he did only run two he has no pacemaker in the field to guarantee things for camelot etc, im sure he will run at least four

While we are at Epsom, in the Oaks i really do like COLIMA it may have on the book ground to find with an impressive winner last time out but there is a lot lot more to come from this filly, trip no problem and has a turn of foot and is a big price for sure, Father of Science and also Colima in an ew double

Haven't gone mad tbh, it was either him or Imperial Monarch i wanted to back before the final decs and it appears the latter is heading to france, although they are both still entered over there, wouldn't be too sure he needs a pacemaker in this either, this trip is an unknown for Camelot, even though on breeding it should get it,but breeding can only be used as a guide imo.

Well theres a rumour that actually came to occur, one of those things i guess, so now for me its Astrology in the Derby and Colima in the oaks, have to say this is seemingly the poorest Derby i have seen for a long long time, is it me or at the moment camelot aside do this years three year olds look tosh.

It's a better Derby than 1997 and remarkably similar. I'm not exactly sure how you can crab the form of Bonfire myself. Unlucky third in the main Group 1 2yo race in France and won the strongest looking Derby trial fairly well. Main Sequence is an unbeaten winner of a recognised Derby Trial. Either might well turn out to be very good as of course the favourite could. Only Parish Hall and Kesampour are missing of those with solid looking top class form. With Astrology a wide margin win in a tiny sub standard soft ground field leave us guessing, but he too could turn out to be very good.
Father Of Science did look interesting each way as did Kesampour I thought. The market was telling us they might not be running |
