Probably his impressive victory last time out, and after Frankel, must be close to highest rated miler, and if Frankel steps up to 10 furlongs, could be some nice Group 1s over a mile to be snapped up with him.

By my reckoning Frankel won't step up until after the Queen Anne which means there's no group 1 mile opportunity for Excelebration until after the substitution date.
