I think there is a fabulous bet in this race but interested to know everyones views before I post my reasoning.

too obvious fivebagken...everyone saw that run at cheltenham and its being over bet.

one at a price for me is PINEAU DE RE, 33-1 PP, mostly 20s, 25s
7th in the Supreme in 2008, after long layoff has come back with some solid performances against good yardsticks in graded company last season.
After win in October, looks like it's been aimed at this race.
Given midseason break, will appreciate the better going and ran an eyecatching race in a qualifier last month.
looks to have a nice weight, only entry at the Festival, still unexposed over trip and might have slipped under the radar due to connections.

Big price on here spitfire had a dabble on here as well overpriced if travelling will get in and has plenty of ability to run big race imo,Sivola main bet at 14s good while back, but needs loads to come out,thinkl he is slung in!
allthekingshorses is my bet of the meeting at 20/1. beat rocky creek by a neck at exeter last year with grand design and lovcen over 10 lengths back in 3rd and 4th. Returned to form on better ground at donny last time out beating a really good yardstick in corkage after never travelling and being the first off the bridle. off a mark of 130 on a line through its exeter form its well and truly chucked in imho.
Good call, but needs loads not to run to get in bit like my fancy from while back Sivola De Sivola off 132.
Few trainers with multiple entries re Pipe,Jonjo,Venetia so good few will come out not sure will be enough though.

Currently this horse is 20/1 for the pertemps final with tote/betfred and ladbrokes ..some bookies are as low as 16/1.
This is what the trainer said around Christmas.
BARWELL BRIDGE
6 b g Red Ransom - Sentimental Value.
Useful staying handicap hurdler despite only winning one from ten starts. Off 138 when sixth of 23 to Buena Vista in Pertemps Final at Cheltenham in March. Off track until three lengths third of seven to Deireadh Re in two mile six handicap at Kempton on Boxing Day off 137.
"He finished distressed after Cheltenham and I got his wind done and after that he had little problems that kept him off. Kempton wasn't really the right track and the trip was a bit short and he ran better than I'd expected - has come out better than he went in. His aim is the Pertemps again and he will be competitive because with luck he might have been placed last year. Good ground and Cheltenham suit him."
The horse has ran at cheltenham 3 times...ran on well as a 4yo to finish 5th in the triumph hurdle. Then finished 2nd over 3 miles as a 4 year old against older horses. In last years pertemps final the horse finished 6th as a 5yo and finished distressed ( 5 yolds have a very poor record in the pertemps ). It has since had an operation on its wind and is a year older and stronger. It has been campaigned all year with this race as the target. As the horse is bred by red ransom the usual good or faster ground at the festival will be ideal.
wont be 20/1 on the day and would be surprised if it was bigger than 12/1.
