By:
SLC and C&Go to fight it out at d finish.. C&G sud have too much again imo..
Lord Windermere cant b too far off either on form.. |
By:
Only Yielding BJG?
Seems amazing considering the rain there has been all week? |
By:
Big difference on the odds for C&G. VC have him joint fav at 9/4 but Boyles are really taking him on at 7/2.... much bigger than anyone else. Fingers crossed they have it all wrong!
By:
Yep CCM. There is not a single big race i've not followed in the ante-post markets this season and WPM has had block entries on a few occasions. He indicated after his last run that Midnight Game would go to Chelts so basically entered him incase something happended to his other runner. gl with your bet/horse.
By:
Cheers mate. He obviously thinks SLC is good enough....
By:
Interesting that he hasnt left in something else to give SLC a lead. Dont think Ruby will want to do the same as last time, but wonder who will make the running?
By:
I cant get over the ground CCM - nearly fell off me chair wen i seen it this morning
Has been dry for the most part the last 2 days, give or take but was wet enough b4 that Thurles soft to heavy yest Punch was heavy last weekend too Naas soft to heavy tomorrow Must be serious drying at the course! |
By:
Absolutely astounding.
I reckon its The Headmaster and his fellow 33/1 China Rock backers ![]() |
By:
CCM - wishing you all the best on Sunday
By:
Thanks alot roobuck. Pleasing to See Boyles have been forced to retreat!
By:
how is Captain Conan still fav?
NAP lay for me |
By:
dunno judo
good luck on Sunday CCM ![]() |
By:
Good luck for tomrrow pal.
By:
Thanks lads.
By:
Sous Les Cieux favourite on here now 3.2
By:
Not surprised really. CC drifted a bit.....
Dont think there will be a great deal between the 3 principals in the betting at the off. |
By:
or in the race either
happy with 9/2 and hope to trade out short |
By:
Probably! Yep happy with 9/2 as well, but will be delighted to tear the ticket up and stick it in the bin if it loses
![]() |
By:
hehe I bet! good luck anyway
anything else you fancy? |
By:
Quite interested to see how Sportsmaster goes in the first as they think alot of him.
Other than that, think Quel Esprit has a favourites chance and fortunately on at 7/2. But will be half hoping the headmaster can land his monster gamble on China Rock! Havent had a look at much else tbh. How about you? |
By:
Mate of mine is involved with Bold Chief and it should have won the last day but Jacobs cokked it up
anyway goes at Exeter and they only have one to beat apparently, Hendo horse. About 2/1 and will travel and travel so bound to shorten - they expect it to win |
By:
wow put in an in running lay to green evenly all round at 1.72... and amazingly it got matched, didn't ever look like winning!
that is a bonus and a half! gotta love Betfair for that |
By:
settled on inner, 6th halfway, went 3rd before 2 out, no extra early straight and dropped to 5th before last (lame and scoped badly post-race)
Hope he's OK |
By:
all the best with him CCMno idea what to make of that race really, except SLC was flying at the end and surely has to go for the Neptune now |
By:
all the best CCM, hope he's ok.
By:
Sous Les Cieux's mistake at 2nd last cost him big time
By:
Personally think Ruby cocked up, not sure he needs 2m 5f, as they appeared to go pretty steady.
Sous need a strongly run race over 2 miles at Festival then may see him in better light if showing. |
By:
Think SLC will be better next season tbh. Reminds me of Zaidpour.
Hope your horse is OK CCM. Looked to be moving nicely at one stage. |
By:
![]() What a funny race. Obviously gutted... but he did scope badly and was a bit lame afterwards. Nothing major, but enough to end his race, so at least there was a reason for it. AL said he didnt feel like the same horse he rode at Xmas and his class got him into the race, he just had nothing left to give. Hopefully it was too bad to be true, and just one of those days they all have. Didnt think Ruby gave SLC a great ride myself.... gave the horse an awful lot to do in dead ground. Granted he got the second last all wrong, but still. |
By:
Unlucky CCM. Do you think he will be ready for Cheltenham and if he is will that be the plan?
As regards SLC, the distance he made up in the last 2 furlongs shows he is a very good horse, just needs a distance of ground as well as time as sint says |
