Cant believe Giles Cross has only gone up 6lb in total for winning and then finishing 2nd in Wales. Off 138 now which means he is unlikely to get in the race.

Some Market Trends

Ballabriggs was bet at some silly prices straight after last year's win and then hardened around
20/1 - 23/1 on here. The people who took 10/1 will probably have their smiles restored some time
as the previous winner tends to be supported close to race day. I'm still glad I wasn't in at 10s
though.

West End Rocker has had consistent support since winning the Be-tfred authoritatively. Junior has
been steadily bet with one strange wager at 12/1 on here (when the bookies were 16/1) - a palpable
error... let's hope they don't void the whole market. I think he was fancied a bit last year and then
balloted out, but I may be misremembering that.

Cappa Bleu was an interesting one - anyone who got the fancy prices for a coupla quid will feel chuffed
with themselves. Others who have seen a big price drop include Shakalaboomboom, Organisedconfusion and
Mon Mome.

Big Fella Thanks has drifted barge-wise and Alfa Beat came in at 40-ish after a promising race and then
softened to its present price.

With £179k matched on here, the market is poised to get going properly at the start of February. Here
are the dates you need:
    12pm, 31st January - Initial Entry Stage
    12pm 28th February - Forfeit Stage
    12pm 20th March - Further Forfeit Stage
12pm, 9th April - Confirmation Of Entry Stage
