Thanks very much for that FIGGIS, I remembered that he carried 10st
at Ayr, but was not certain, I also remember the man who owned the shop where I bought my daily paper and cigs, told me he was going to York on the Saturday , I jumped in and said if you want the winner of the big sprint then back ROMAN WARRIOR, he's a good un.
He duly won I think it was the W HILL SPRINT for 3yo at 8/1, but time has a habit of playing tricks with the memory.
