6 days to go now so happy to take a chance on Noble Alan also. I dont really know if he is going to run, but at 20/1 will take a chance. The current Going is Good on the New Course, and the forcast is unsettled with some light showers. It was Good to Soft in the PP as they had 5mm overnight so he can handle some cut and Nicky Richards still in form, Storm Brig ran a cracker today (unlucky Pebbles) and Realt Mor fell at the last fence yesterday and was sure to win.

I don't include free bets on here so backed it at bigger odds with vc too  If that makes me a bender then so be it |

Replies: 16149 04 Dec 11 18:30 think Noble Alan may run off his old rating actually but that is good enough He is 2 lb better in at the weights here sint. Was running from 2 lb out of the handicap lto, so effectively was running off OR144 even though he is rated 142. |

What do you make of QE's course form ? Bit of worry F6F. Has to be a straight win bet i'd have thought ? Still plenty of 14/1 available anyway but he is being backed and it might not last long .. |

Race conditions defo favour him and I think it was case of him being novicey rather than anything to do with course form in the RSA. And you can forgive his two hurdle runs (clipped heels before falling in the Neptune and then ran 6th two days later in the AB). Think this is the season that he can finally fulfil his potential and that could start on Saturday.
Nicholls has first call on Ruby on Saturdays too so not worried that he rides Ghizao. |

Quel Esprit is my fancy for this also.Agree with COM that his course form is misleading,and for me his jumping is no concern....I actually think its a plus,despite what his form figures would suggest.Problem is,do you back him at 14/1 now or wait till final decs and take a lower price?I've decided to wait,as second guessing Mullins is a dangerous game imo.
