I wouldnt count on Aidan O'Brien making a desicion on anything, he cant even decide on the Eclipse which is next week FFS.
Basically O'Brien dosnt like risking the horse against anything half decent.......hes weak as piss IMO, wouldnt last 5 minutes as a trainer in Australia. Muppet show! |

By:
gonna be dissapointing if he doesn't show on saturday
|

They don't even have a jockey yet FFS, and this is supposed to be the most professional outfit in the UK........(insert laugh here)
.........WAKE UP! |

By:
They're not in the UK and even if they were they wouldn't be considered the most professional outfit just the strongest in depth.

Some funny $hit here though. http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/a-stud-does-not-a-stallion-make-8230-porn-kings-eye-questioned-in-court-20110626-1gluq.html |

St Nicholas Abeey is goin so forget it. |

Don't see why the guy would have a case there.
Mr Ryan told the court he advised Mr Ange against breeding Immunity with Holy Roman Emperor. The mare was not good enough and both horses were too small, he said. |
|
By:
you're fishing, right?
|
|
By:
Why?
The mare was in foal when she was killed. Its an insurance matter from there I'm sure. I'd also imagine that studs wouldn't give live foal guarantees to every hobbyist with more money than sense whereas if the mare had been a group 1 winner that sort of guarantee may have been more forthcoming. |
|
By:
You've finally realised the quote had nothing to do with the argument although now you're confusing yourself with the value of the mare. It doesn't matter to the stud whether the mare is a group 1 winner or a seller, the sperm costs the same.
A newspaper article is too little information to speculate the ins-and-outs of this case but I can see where the "hobbyist" is coming from. Many studs do offer live foal guarantees covering the eventuality of the death of the mare or the foal (hence the wiki entry). If Coolmore don't then whoever signed the contract on Con's behalf should have made him aware of that before committing him to the deal. |

That was my point and to think otherwise is just wrong. Take the seller to the stud and you'll be paying full list price, take the G1 winning mare there and they'll be falling over themselves to get the mare covered by one of theirs. This case will surely be settled by the contract anyway. |

where does it leave the kg backers now! lol
|

By:
God only knows, O'Brien really likes to play these mind games about which races, which jockey, wouldnt suprise me if he turns out for the KG whilst hes running well then takes a break before either an Arc, BC or Cox plate.
I dont even think O'Brien knows his own plan yet. ![]() |

kg noteven considered when talking after the race yesterday, if i remember it was champion irish stakes and maybe york , from what i read between the lines k george not on the radar,
|
|
By:
He is obviously not goin to the King George as he isn't a strong stayer over that trip. He will turn up at York or the Irish Champion.
