Arc 4th Behkabad makes his return in the 3:25 at chantilly tomorrow, already a group 1 winner as a 3 year old and held his own in the highest of company all season twice beating the mighty Planteur over tomorrows trip and finishing a very respectable 4 lengths 4th to workforce in the arc,has to give weight to the field but this is only a group 2 and he has already beaten the 2nd favorite for tomorrows race (ivory land) by 15 lengths over the same trip last year,he is way clear of this lot and seriously out of there league,it is his first run of the season and will improve for it but connections have been very happy with his work on the run up to this race and should take this in his stride, like always certain firms open a book on the race the night before and Hills get it wrong every time pricing up there french racing and have opened him up at 7/4 for a horse that will be odds on on the french pmu in the morning
after the wad i lost on him today, people taking the p1ss is the least of my concerns i can understand Lemaire giving him a sympathetic ride if he was instructed to,but surely when in with a winning chance a little more effort should have been given, specially after the mess he made on Baraan

TFM, I agree with you. I can understand not being hard on the horse, for obvious reasons, but the fact is he pulled himself to the front, travelled nicely, and had the lead with 1/2 furlong to go. He simply should have been a lot more rigourous in the saddle.
