Anyone know his opinions on this year's derby. Always worth considering his opinion re bloodlines etc.

Stamina doubts about Native Khan and Recital.

Carlton House not certain to stay but his class should see him home; class doubts about Seville.

Carlton House to beat Seville or Pour Moi.

Dalakhani's offspring don't always live up to their early promise.

Positive word for Masked Marvel.

Cheers Ramruma. Interesting he has stamina doubts about Recital - Im on this one at 12s. Was thinking that Masked Marvel was the ew value left in the race

Here is the Recital paragraph.

Recital, a son of Montjeu and full-brother to a winner of the
Ganay, Corre Caminos, who apparently didn’t stay more than
the mile and a quarter of that race, seemed to have more
stamina than his brother when he romped home in the
Criterium de Saint Cloud last autumn. He had little to beat
when he won his Derby trial over 10f in Ireland recently so
his stamina wasn’t really tested there. His dam Dibenoise is
by the miler Kendor out of the French 1,000 Guineas-placed
Boreale and at this stage speed dominated. He will still have
to prove he gets the mile and a half as well as some of his
rivals will at Epsom.

Always respect his opinion, but going with my eyes on Recital and think he will stay, infact think he will be able to quicken well inside the last two furlongs

Aidan O'Brien also has doubts about Recital's stamina.

From the Racing Post website:

trainer is confident about the colt's ability even if he is unsure about the 1m4f trip.

"Recital we always though was brilliant and had that kick of brilliance in him that would definitely get him a mile and a quarter and we have to take the rest on trust," he said on Thursday.
