I know the general opinion is that Vita Nova will have to improve here as she's stepping up from handicaps, but by my calculations that was a very impressive time she ran last time. If she runs to that form today (and I can't think of any obvious reason why she shouldn't) she wins.

Agreed Figgis. TQ has huge opinion of this horse and Royal Ascot beckons if today goes well. The danger is Crystal Capella who is a class above the rest and who always runs well first time out. Has to give 7lbs though and connections blamed the fast ground for her disappointing run last time out. Likely to encounter similar conditions today so Vita Nova for me.
