Carlton House is defiitely an interesting one but as COT says his breeding is a concern. At the prices I've thrown a few quid at Yaseer at 120 - bred to be much better over 10f+, and has shown he has trained on and is in good health.
Hope he gives the Guineas a swerve and goes for the Dante.

"Any Frenchie contenders for Epsom?"

I'm sure they were talking about an Aga Khan horse perhaps going to Epsom. It's name escapes me.

Are you all avoiding the original Derby thread re Frankel because

Graeme83 thought 'it was too early to say'

sintonian thought 'he beat nothing'

ilikewavingatbuses thought 'Frankel just another hyped horse'

Can we magically reinvent the past on this thread ... only time will tell  Laugh

Who was the first person to post on his thread, having a go at people and proving his point?

You may well be good at reading horses ( sorry the best as you yourself say ) but as for relating to humans you are absolutely clueless

A_T, at least Erics posts on here concluively prove he is Mayweather now.

''I am the best''

''You clown''

''I make loads of cash''

Incase Prima Donna is looking in i'd like to let him know that Mayweather/Eric/KirkStP1zz/YsB started several threads in the build up to cheltenham claiming horses to be injured and will not run. Quel Esprit and MDH.

But nae bother, we've just got to accept him now.Plain

Re Slumber ... Barry Hills has not won the Derby before, it's the only Classic he has not won, so unless Abdullah says no, I suspect Barry would like to run him after that performance today. Imo, of course.

Would suggest it needs to put in a stunning perfmance in a serious trial before Abdullah stumps up the £75k or whatever it is the supplementary stage

Yes fairpint Roo. It is not like they are lacking contenders anyway which will probably be the main reason for him not running, if that is how it turns out.

What are your bets in the Derby jair1970.

You wouldnt give us your 1000 Guineas bets on that thread (we know your main bet was Helleborine who was not good enough to make the race).

What have you got to hide you reckon you are shrewd list your bets with prices?
By:
eric_morris
When: 20 Apr 11 23:34
I have 25s the 5s Derby fav not as funny as your really bad bet on Helleborine the 1000 (and it took the combined 'intellect' of about 50 posters on that thread including you to come up with her ... more hands make fk all as the saying goes however you may have been the main factor in her downfall LaughLaugh)
By:

When: 20 Apr 11 23:37
Oh and of course I have 20s the 7s Derby 2nd fav tough he has much less chance. A very agreeable book so far .. unlike yours where you missed a price Frankel and World Domination. Never mind keep talking on here as though you are clued up, you know as anyone could to hide the fact they are sh1t at it.  Laugh

Eric Morris on Horse Racing Ante-post/Cheltenham etc Fora, is the current incarnation of perhaps the most preposterous poster anywhere. He too is given to heroic last minute trades, directly at odds with previously strongly argued positions in order to get out in profit (often 6 figures!), despite never posting an actual bet before an event. He is utterly incapable of getting anything wrong and has, to my knowledge, never had a losing bet. Anyone who disagrees with him is a 'stalker', to whom he will attribute imaginary statements, obviously without any evidence to back them up, which he then attempts to discredit. He labours under the misapprehension that he has then 'proved you wrong' - a peculiar obsession of his that gives an indication of his overall insecurity. On the rare ocassions that he does tip up a winner (without actually admitting to having placed any actual money on the beast), he then crows from the rooftops that he is some kind of guru and all should worship at his alter, clearly oblivious to the fact that even a blind dog will pi55 up the odd lampost.
He is great fun though and we would miss him over there if his Mum ever banned him for any length of time. That said, there is no shortage of contenders for Forum Idiot waiting in the wings Cry

I will win on the race essexguy.

Sorry to pull you up yet again Eric my old fruit, but as you never lay any horses (not even that usleess overhyped nag St Nicholas Abbey for some reason) and clearly don't arb as thats a worse crime than rape and murder, you must have backed every single 3 year old entire colt in training, yet as there is still a supplementary stage, at which point a horse who hasn't even got a name yet could be entered and then win the Derby, you might still lose.

So please explain to us all how you will definitely 'win on the race'[;)]

Smashing post from Desmand Orchard. Got the Eric sussed to a Tee.

Dont forget Recital is covered in Eric's book at 12/1 also. So far that is 3 horses, and we are only in April.

Again, though, more evidence that contradicts his persistent ramping of Frankel winning the Derby. If your so confident on one horse winning a race, then why back several others in it ? Goes against logic.imo.

hes must be losing some amout of money aunty post as he seems to have every horse covered before the defection stage for potentially thousands of pounds if they win, so how much he puttin on? [;)] and what bookmaker would take these bets? u can get 20 quid e/w if youre any good and this fells is putting thousands on
