About once a week I like to check through my antepost bets for the classics and I thought that Libranno wasn't looking like a great pick but is only available on here at 27 which is what I had him at after Goodwood.

Have I missed something?

Last price matched was 110.00 and he has been laid to small sums at 500.00, 520.00, 530.00, 550.00 and 560.00.  I'm surprised that anyone wanted to back him (even at 110.00) - he looks an out-and-out sprinter and I'll be surprised if he's even aimed at the Guineas.

Thanks guys.

Jamesp, what did you think to Zoowaraa going to Godolphin but to Al Zarooni and not Bin Suroor? Do you think they will run both of them in the 1000?

Both of who ?
I presume you mean 'white moonstone', in which case the odds on offer should be for them to actually run in the english 1000 guineas, presumably they're both in the UAE as we speak ?

Godolphin won't start to formalise Guineas plans until about the end of March.  They're not averse to running two or more fillies in the Guineas, but White Moonstone certainly looks the pick of their candidates at this stage.  Zoowraa is reportedly progressing nicely, but Simon Crisford's words ("she'll probably be given an entry for the 1,000 Guineas") are not excatly a ringing endorsement of her Guineas prospects.  Zoowraa's transfer to Godolphin makes it less likely, in my view, that she will participate in the Guineas than if she were still in the hands of Michael Jarvis.  Zoowraa is not terribly big, she has only raced on yielding ground, and she has only won a Listed race (albeit impressively) in a slow winning time.  Of all the fillies quoted at less than 20/1 for the Guineas, Zoowraa is the one that appeals least as a likely Guineas winner.
