not sure what they are gna do with him now!? He would prabably have got quite decent ground on Saturday as well. Was possibly going to back him if he had good ground in the Champ chase but without a run I am a little bit concerned.

No idea what has happened with this one. Their two alternatives after the Desert Orchid was called off were a handicap at Doncaster and the Game Spirit. Ground was decent for both, but he was entered in neither (the Donny meeting was abandoned in any case). I'd have thought they'd be desperate to get a conditioning run/experience into him before Cheltenham. Must be a doubt about him making the QM line-up in the absence of news to the contrary. A shame, as I thought he started the season with a great deal of potential.

think he will run at chelts...but main target for the yr maybe @ aintree

Surely no race for him at Aintree unless he's going to carry top weight in the Red Rum.

why isnt he running this weekend?

On a temporary easy list.  Nothing too serious but straight to Cheltenham now and they'll need a clear run with him.

bolty..thought maybe he might step up in trip...hosed up in the novice chase last yr...did'nt look like stopping...i like fresh horses come aintree...

I nearly got caught up with the hype of this one at the start of the season when Nicholls said he had taken Master Minded box. Looking back now though what did he actually beat at Aintree?

Paul Nicholls reported yesterday that the horse had had a set back and would go straight to the QM. I think the set back has been the ground.
