This does look a poor turnout for a Grade 1 and Sam Winner should win although the King horse could give him plenty to think about imo.

Smad Place is the King horse. Not certain to run according to trainer in today's RP.

Maoi Chinn Tire who won at 200/1 at Wetherby beating Grandouet 14.5 lengths is an interesting entry for Jennie Candlish.

haha a mate had £4 e/w on that, took 66/1 though :) grandouet is the one i fancy of the juveniles so far, sam  winner obviously impressive but grandouet gave it 8lbs at cheltenham, and won giving away stupid weight next time out. plus nicholls keeps mentioning that sam winner may not run in the triumph. still waiting to see indian daudaie and brampour from his yard though, and moose moran from henderson's. u think trozulon that geraghty rode at cheltenham saturday could go for triumph? looks a nice horse

Would need to watch that race again, Paul - Triumph is not a race I play in AP. Grandouet clearly come on leaps and bounds since the Wetherby race but the winner won by 9 lengths!Dolatulo in Chepstow field Sat too.

As you point out, sure there are plenty of Triumph candidates we have n't seen yet.

Pretty sure (maybe wrong though) that Henderson said before the Cheltenham race that they rode the completely wrong race on him last time (at Wetherby) and that he would be held up alot more at Cheltenham, which AP did and then started to pick them off. But yeh, i dont think the winner has run yet :)
