Recital for me for Derby..

Our Girl Salley - won a very good mares listed hurdle yesterday on only her 2nd start over the smaller obstacles. Wasn't even fully fit yesterday either. Not many mares win 3 bumpers either.

I quite liked a 2yo of Brian Meehans .. Marden. Was left at the start in the maiden he won and was very green up the finishing hill at Leicester that day. Plenty more to come imo |

When pressed for a horse other than Frankel the other day Lord Grimthorpe said Picture Editor. Interesting considering the talent they have (inc that old plodder Sea Moon!). Obviously not lost the faith despite Newmarket.

Picture Editor well exposed last time out the first time he met anything with 4 legs. They are using him to keep attention away from Frankel re the Derby until after the Guineas imo.

Yes I am sure you know much more than him Alvarado and if you could read you would see I did not pick Frankel. Why the need for the abuse? Are you really a football supporter? Sea Moon could well improve next year but he would have to on what he has shown so far. The form of his maidens so far is appalling and my guess is he'll start off in handicaps.
Cecil has very high opinion of Picture Editor. We'll see. |
